Join actor, historian and interpreter Mark Schneider for a portrayal of Revolutionary War hero, the Marquis de Lafayette, on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 2 pm in York Hall, (301 Main Street) Yorktown. As portrayed by Mr. Schneider, Lafayette will reflect on his role during the American Revolution. This timely presentation will mark the approach of the 200 th anniversary of Lafayette’s 1824 return to America as “Guest of the Nation” when he visited all 24 states and the nation’s surviving presidents. The March 10 th presentation is sponsored by the York County Historical Committee in association with the Virginia 250 Committee,
