The Yorktown Preservation Society is an organization formed in 2013 as a result of the restructuring of the Association for the Preservation Virginia Antiquities/Preservation Virginia. Formed from the former APVA Yorktown Branch, the YPS focuses on the restoration and preservation of antiquities in historic Yorktown, Virginia. Many of the projects and programs begun by the Yorktown Branch are being continued by the YPS. The YPS is a not-for-profit organization funded solely by charitable contributions from its members.
